About me
I’ve worked in communications since 2003, both in agencies and in-house. I’ve been freelancing as a web copywriter since 2008 and, before this, I managed and maintained the corporate website of engineering giant Balfour Beatty for three years.
As part of the corporate communications team, I also worked on corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate identity, internal communications, investor relations (IR) and publications.
Combined with my prior public relations (PR) experience in Edelman’s technology team, I’ve gained a good understanding of the role of an online presence within a wider communications strategy.

On a personal level…
I’m currently based on the Spanish island of Mallorca (Majorca). From here, I work remotely and very successfully with my clients via email, Skype and old-fashioned telephone calls.
I have lots of interests, ranging from sport and drawing to photography and languages. (I have an intermediate level of Spanish and am working on my German.)
Environmental issues are important to me. I’m involved in our local Friends of the Earth group (Amics de la Terra), both as a member and volunteer.
