LSG Sky Chefs (Germany, 2012)

LSG Sky Chefs, part of the Lufthansa group, has a train services division that provides catering and on-board products and services for rail operators across Europe.
The company decided to create a website dedicated to its train services offering and needed a web copywriter to review, edit and/or rewrite the materials prepared internally.
This was the second project I completed for LSG Sky Chefs; the first was for its Fine Choice brand.
What I did:
- Reviewed the sitemap, made suggestions for improvements and identified any content gaps.
- Rewrote and formatted copy (body text and metadata such as description and ALT elements) using the corporate style, which specified American English spelling.
- Produced ‘web friendly’ copy that was accessible, usable and optimised for both a global audience and search engines.
- Uploaded and edited all text using the TYPO3 open-source CMS.
